What is Novora?

Novora is an at-home IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) device for long-term hair reduction. It uses gentle pulses of light — the same technology dermatology clinics have used for decades — to slow hair regrowth cycle after cycle until it mostly stops. Ten minutes a week, on your own schedule.

How is it different from shaving or waxing?

Shaving and waxing only remove hair at the surface, so it always grows back. IPL works at the root, so regrowth becomes progressively finer and sparser until most hair stops returning. It is a one-time device, not a repeating cost.

Using the device

Does it hurt?

Who should not use it?

IPL works best on light-to-medium skin tones with dark hair. It is not effective on blonde, red, grey, or white hair, and is not suitable for very dark skin tones — the light needs contrast between skin and hair to target the root safely. Always patch test first, and if you are pregnant, nursing, or take photosensitizing medication, check with your doctor first.
